Mobile vs. Desktop
What's different when using Goodterm on a phone or tablet.
Goodterm works on any screen size. Your records, chats, and AI features are all the same whether you use a phone, tablet, or desktop computer. The interface simply adapts to give you the best experience on your device.
Sidebars Become Drawers
On desktop, the sidebars are always visible alongside your content. On mobile, they turn into slide-out drawers that you can open and close. This gives you the full screen for reading and writing, with your record list and chat history just a tap away.
You can also enable the auto-close drawer option in your settings. When turned on, the drawer closes automatically after you tap on an item — so you jump straight into your content without an extra tap.
Swipe Gestures
On mobile, you can swipe left or right on list items to reveal quick actions. This lets you archive, delete, or perform other actions without opening a menu first.
Simplified Editor Toolbar
The editor toolbar on mobile shows a streamlined set of formatting options to save screen space. All the same formatting is available — the toolbar just focuses on the most commonly used tools so your writing area stays as large as possible.
No Keyboard Shortcuts
Keyboard shortcuts are a desktop feature. On mobile, everything is accessible through the interface directly — buttons, menus, and gestures replace key combinations.
Tooltips Disabled
Tooltips (the small hints that appear when you hover over buttons) are disabled on mobile, since there is no hover on a touchscreen. You will not miss them — the interface is designed to be clear without them.
Everything Else Is the Same
Your data, your AI conversations, your search results, your settings — all identical across devices. You can start a record on your phone and continue editing on your desktop without missing a beat.
