Goodterm lets you tailor the look of the app to match your preferences and working environment.
Light & Dark Mode
You can switch between light and dark mode in two ways:
- Open Settings and toggle the theme option
- Press Alt + E to switch instantly from anywhere in the app
Your choice is saved to your account, so it carries over across devices.
Tooltips
On desktop, Goodterm shows helpful tooltips when you hover over buttons and controls. If you already know your way around and find them distracting, you can turn them off in Settings. This setting only applies to desktop — on mobile, there are no hover tooltips.
Sidebar Trigger Buttons
By default, small trigger buttons appear at the edges of the screen to open the left and right sidebars. If you prefer a cleaner look and use keyboard shortcuts or other navigation instead, you can hide these buttons in Settings under Navigation.
