Navigation & AI Settings
Configure sidebar behavior and AI preferences.
Beyond theme and language, Goodterm has a few more settings that let you fine-tune how the app behaves.
Navigation Settings
Sidebar trigger buttons — Small buttons at the screen edges let you open the left and right sidebars. You can hide them in Settings if you prefer a cleaner layout and use keyboard shortcuts instead.
Auto-close drawer on mobile — On mobile devices, the navigation opens as a drawer overlay. You can choose whether it closes automatically when you tap an item, or stays open so you can browse through multiple items. This setting is only relevant on mobile.
AI Settings
Default AI model — Goodterm offers two AI models: Fast for quick responses and Quality for more thorough answers. You can set your preferred default in Settings, and new conversations will start with that model. You can still switch models for individual chats at any time. For more details, see AI Models.
Audio transcription language — If you use audio messages or audio transcription, you can set the transcription language in Settings. This helps the AI transcribe your voice input more accurately.
