Password & Security

Change your password and manage your account security.

Keeping your account secure is important. Goodterm gives you the tools to manage your password, control your sessions, and — if needed — delete your account.

Changing Your Password

You can change your password in the account dialog under the security section. You will need to enter your current password first, then choose a new one. Pick a strong, unique password that you do not use on other sites.

How Your Data Is Protected

All communication with Goodterm is encrypted via HTTPS, so your data is safe in transit. Your password is never stored in plain text — it is hashed using bcrypt before being saved.

Password Reset

If you forget your password, you can request a reset link from the login page. Goodterm sends an email with a secure link that lets you set a new password. The link expires after a short time for your safety.

Sign Out From All Devices

If you suspect someone else has access to your account, or you just want a fresh start, you can sign out from all devices at once. This option is available in the account dialog and invalidates all active sessions everywhere.

After signing out from all devices, you will need to log in again on each device you want to use.

Deleting Your Account

If you decide to leave Goodterm, you can permanently delete your account from the account dialog. This removes your account and all associated data — records, chats, and settings — and cannot be undone.

You will be asked to confirm before anything is deleted, so there is no risk of accidental removal.
