Organizing Records
Pin, archive, filter, and sort your records to stay on top of your knowledge.
As your collection of records grows, staying organized becomes important. Goodterm gives you several tools to keep things tidy without adding complexity.
Pinning Records
Pin a record to mark it as important. Pinned records appear at the top of your sidebar list, so you always have quick access to the ones that matter most right now. You can pin and unpin records at any time.
Archiving Records
When a record is no longer actively needed but you want to keep it around, archive it. Archived records are hidden from your main list but not deleted. You can view your archived records by filtering for them, and unarchive them whenever you need them again.
Deleting Records
When you delete a record, it is not gone immediately. Deleted records are kept for 30 days before they are permanently removed. During that window, you can still recover them if you change your mind.
Filtering
Use the filter options in the sidebar to narrow down your record list by status:
- Pinned — show only your pinned records
- Archived — show only archived records
- Shared — show only records you have published as public links
This makes it easy to focus on exactly the set of records you are looking for.
Sorting
You can sort your records in the sidebar by:
- Date created — newest or oldest first
- Date modified — most recently edited first
- Title — alphabetical order
Pick the sort order that fits your current workflow.
Search
The search field at the top of the sidebar lets you quickly find records by their text content. Just start typing and the list filters down in real time.
Bulk Actions
Need to clean up several records at once? Select multiple records in the sidebar, then use the available actions to delete or archive them all in one step.
