Sharing Records

Share your records as public read-only links with anyone.

Want someone else to read one of your records? Goodterm lets you publish any record as a public link that anyone can view — no account required.

Publishing a Record

Open the record you want to share and use the share option in the record menu. When you publish a record, Goodterm generates a unique public link. Anyone with that link can view your record in a clean, read-only page.

The shared page displays your record exactly as you wrote it, with all formatting preserved. Viewers cannot edit the content.

Publish Record

This will create a public link that anyone can use to view this record. You can revoke access at any time.

Copy the generated link and send it to anyone — via email, chat, or wherever you like. The recipient does not need a Goodterm account to view the record.

Revoking Access

Changed your mind? You can revoke the share at any time. Once revoked, the public link stops working and the record becomes private again. Anyone who tries to open the old link will no longer be able to see the content.

Good to Know

  • Sharing creates a read-only view. Your original record remains fully editable by you.
  • If you update a shared record, the public link automatically shows the latest version.
  • You can see which of your records are currently shared by using the "Shared" filter in the sidebar.
